If we had to define Holzmarkt (literally "wood market") in just a few words, we'd call it a creative village in the heart of the city. But in reality, it's something much bigger and more incredible.
Holzmarkt 25 is the result of a collaboration between more than 20 local businesses that came together to bring life and innovation to the banks of the Spree River. Inside its beautifully graffiti-covered buildings, you'll find music and photography studios, a microbrewery, art collectives and galleries, a coworking space, the Katerblau nightclub, and even a kindergarten.

The Katerblau club is one of Berlin's most famous
The project was developed by the Genossenschaft für Urbane Kreativität (“Cooperative for Urban Creativity” or GuK). Anyone interested—and with €25,000 to invest—can become a partner, gaining voting rights in the project's administrative decisions.

But you don’t need to be an investor to enjoy Holzmarkt! The space is open to the public and regularly hosts DJ events, markets, and workshops, making it a must-visit for anyone looking for creativity and culture in Berlin.
