K’UPS Gemüsekebap: a tasty döner kebab even for Berlin's standards

Don't be surprised if a German tells you that Berlin's typical dish is döner kebab. Although it has existed since the Ottoman Empire, the modern version of the sandwich was created by Turkish immigrants in Berlin in the early 1970s.
With over 1,300 establishments in the city, choosing the best one isn't easy. Mustafa’s Gemüsekebab is often featured in travel guides, which results in long queues. If you don't like waiting but still want a delicious kebab, we recommend K’UPS Gemüsekebap, located near Kulturbrauerei.
Unlike most döners, which are usually served with meat, salad, and sauce, K’UPS also includes fried vegetables and offers a vegetarian version with halloumi cheese.
