Howth is a must-visit in Dublin, especially on sunny days. This former fishing village is surrounded by natural beauty and is an ideal spot for walks, even if you're not an experienced adventurer.
The most classic trail is to Howth Head Peak. It's easy to get there: from the DART station (suburban train), you can take the bus (31/31b) halfway and walk the rest, which takes about 20 minutes. Along the way, you can stop at Cliff Stop, a charming café where you can grab some snacks.

Our favorite spot, however, is the secret beach at Welton’s Bay. To get there, take the 31 or 31b bus and get off at Howth Summit station. From there, it's just a 900m walk to this beautiful hidden corner.
