Finding pubs in Dublin is so easy that it can actually be difficult. There are countless options, each with its own charm. However, when we asked locals for their top drinking spots, The Cobblestone was the most recommended – and it did not disappoint.

The bar is located in Smithfield, one of the city's oldest neighborhoods. It’s not very big and might not be ideal for those with high expectations, plus it doesn’t serve food. However, it’s an authentic Irish pub and a must-visit for music lovers.

The Cobblestone is dedicated to keeping the country’s cultural traditions alive. There are live Irish music sessions seven days a week, including traditional Irish pipe sessions on the first Tuesday of each month. The pub also hosts folk dance performances and history talks. On Wednesdays, from 7:30 PM to 10 PM, they even offer music classes.
