If you’re tired and hungry after a long day of sightseeing and still don’t know where to eat in St. Petersburg, head to Teremok, the "Russian McDonald's." This fast-food restaurant is everywhere in the city, it’s affordable, and instead of burgers, it serves pelmeni, blinis, soups, and other traditional Russian dishes.

Pilmenis at Teremok
While it’s not the same as going to a full restaurant, Teremok is comfortable, clean, and offers tasty food. Additionally, the menus are available in English, which makes things much easier.

The most popular order is the blini, a type of Russian pancake that can be savory or sweet. Fillings vary and include options like cheese, cabbage with eggs, salmon, caviar, condensed milk, and caramel. To drink, be adventurous and try kvas, mors, or medovukha.
